The Field of view is 105' on 1x and 13' on 8x at 100 yards

Field of View is 105' at 100 yards on 1x and 13' at 100 yards on 8x. This is listed in the specifications at the bottom of the product page

On 1x this is basically the same as your eyesight...you will be able to focus a short distance beyond the end of your barrel. At 8x, this would depend on your diopter setting, but you should have a sharp focus at around 20 -25 yards. Closer then that would be workable but not as sharp as 20 yards and beyond

No plans for a FFP version or additional reticle options at the moment. What other reticle options would you ne interested in?

Since this is a SFP scope, the mil marks in the reticle will only be accurately represented at a specific magnification within the magnification range. What power zoom are those accurately represented at? 1x? 8x? Somewhere in the middle 4x?

Like most SFP riflescopes the reticle is designed to be used at the highest magnification (8x)

Can this scope handle the known recoil impulse of the SCAR 17 platform? Is it warrantied on this platform?

Yes, we have customers who have asked the same question due to the severity if the recoil of the SCAR 17 and they have not had any issues. We have several customers using the 1-8x24 on the 458 Lott which is one of the most severe recoiling rifles. We are confident you would not have any issues with the TORIC 1-8X24 on the SCAR 17
