In regard to the 30x Spotting Scope Eyepiece, does it function in a first focal plane when it's installed on your spotting scope? If not, at what magnification would the reticle be in proportion to the target?

The 30x Spotting scope eyepiece is a fixed 30 power (it is not variable and does not change power) so the magnification is constantly at 30x. The reticle is always in proportion as there is no change in magnification
