TORIC UHD 30MM 4-20X50 FFP MRAD/MRAD Long Range Rifle Scope
Glass Etched MRAD Reticle
The MRAD reticle is designed to allow the Long Range shooter to measure targets to determine the distance and then make corrections by either dialing or using the reticle for bullet drop compensation. Since the windage and elevation adjustments match the reticle values, you can easily make adjustments quickly and easily by using the reticle as a reference in relation to the impact of the bullet. The FFP (First Focal Plane) design allows you to use the reticle at any magnification. For accuracy, the reticle is broken up into .5 Miliradian increments with larger hash marks indicating 1 Mil increments while the upper vertical and both horizontal ends of the reticle are marked in .1 Mil increments making the MRAD reticle and incredibly versatile design. Image shown features the reticle while Illuminated at the highest magnification.

Ratings & Reviews
Being in the long range industry for over 40 years I can only say good things about Tract Optics and their products. These optics will perform just as well as other competitors products at a percentage of the cost. I have tested Tract optics out to 1400 yards with nothing but positive results. Not only do they track perfectly but the clarity is second to none, they are very user friendly, they are very durable and they stand behind their product. I am the lead instructor for the Bergara Academy out in Belt Montana and conduct precision marksmanship schools out there and utilize numerous manufactures optics in the schools. Not saying anything negative about the other manufactures products but you get more bang for your buck with Tract optics. I am starting a new training program on the east coast as well for precision marksman and fully intend on using Tract optics on the precision rifles for the schools. Get on board with these optics and you will not be disappointed one bit.
I have used many scopes in my 78 year life span to include some very expensive ones that Uncle Sam let me use when I served in the U.S.Army. This scope rates right up there with the very expensive scopes and even surpasses many of them. When I finish the rifle that I am building now I will order another with the same simple milling reticle that I have on this one as that is what I am used to. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Great Scope.
I started shooting benchrest in the mid 70’s with 22-250 and 6mm Remington. I worked at a higher end gun store, learned a lot from our gunsmith and began reloading at the time. In those days Unertl and Redfield were at the top of the optics world in the US. I provide this background to demonstrate that I’ve been through a lot of the evolving world of shooting optics.
I’m also a LE sniper, firearms instructor and avid shooter 45 years later. When considering a scope for my new build last year I looked at everything from Tangent Theta, Meopta, Schmidt & Bender and Kahles. I don’t like the ergonomics of most Swarovski so I didn’t include them. I was contacted by Athlon about that time as they were looking for dealers and then I saw an ad on Accurate shooter forum for Tract. I went to their site and began to read about construction, glass source and grade and where the scopes were made. Tract checked all of my important boxes for a high quality scope and I liked the direct sales model. As a dealer I can get good quality scopes at wholesale cost and I finally decided on the Tract Toric UHD Mil. I’ve performed tall target and tracking tests and my Tract is spot on in each discipline. A friend that I shoot with uses Kahles and I asked him to get behind my rifle and tell me what he thinks of my Tract vs his Kahles K525i, he looked very surprised and said that he couldn’t see any loss in optic quality, when I told him what it cost he was shocked. He cranked turrets, parallax, focus, returned to zero, everything and it was all spot on. My only wish (not regret) is that the PRS reticle was available when I bought mine. I may contact Jon and see if the reticle can be replaced in mine since ther are some features of that design I like.
I own 2 of the Toric UHD 4-20x50 MRAD scopes. These scopes far exceed anything in their price range and favorably compete with other brands costing 2-3x the price. Perfect, crystal clear glass, best turrets on the market, outstanding craftsmanship. Performance on tracking tests have been exact and repeatable. I’ve used these on the bench and in rough hunting conditions and they are absolutely perfect performers. I’ll be buying another soon!
I purchased the Toric UHD in Mil/Mil a few months ago and waited this long to to give a fair review because I wanted see how this optic performed in different conditions and all I can say is WOW! everything worked flawlessly from the tracking to the zero stop. I have used this scope to compete in 2 1000 yrd f-class matches and you really appreciate the quality of the glass to read mirages at different distances. I am currently building a custom rifle and will purchase another one once completed. Thanks again Tract!
I stumbled onto a review of the TORIC 4-20 x 50 MRAD. Then I went to the website and read about the company. I ordered one. This is by far the best scope I’ve ever had, and used. The controls are precise and crisp. The glass clarity is simply stunning. I installed my scope on a Seekins Havak Bravo using the Iota rings. Everything is perfect. Customer service is a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend any Tract product to anyone. In fact, I’ve been so impressed with the product and my experience, I purchased the 12.5 x 50 Toric binoculars. Again, a stunning product and vastly superior purchase experience.
Just received my Tekoa 3-12 , in the UK from Tract. Lovely clear glass, very nice quality finish on the scope , nice positive clicks on the turrets. Jon was great to deal with . I can recommend both the product and the company.
I purchased a Tract Toric on the recommendation of a fellow UK shooter. I had never previously seen or held one. It was ordered on the Sunday evening, an easy process and it arrived on the following Thursday into the UK. The process and online support was sublime. Just opening the box I could see the quality, and the first impression was the physical weight of the Toric. Mounting it onto my Sauer 100 .223 was simple and first round only needed 1 Mil left adjustment. The Tract Toric just exudes quality. I wanted MRAD / MRAD. I wanted illumination. I wanted 30mm. I loved the reticle, it is fine and simple. The movement of the mag wheel and parallax is beautiful. The “feel” and audible clicks of the windage and elevation turrets are sublime in use and all lines match perfectly. The little rubber O ring under the turret screws are an engineering smart touch. The finish and colour is both immaculate and smart. Fast focus ocular eyepiece and a good eye relief are so good. It racks perfectly and returns to zero on point. The icing on the cake is the Schott glass. I was finding I was using a much lower mag than my usual “big brand name” scopes but the bonus was absolute clarity when looking into bright sunlit areas where my current scopes would wash out. The Edge to edge view showed no aberration and was crisp from 4 through to 20 and setting parallax easy. I can use this scope for both hunting and long range target applications. The real delight has been the personal service from Jon LaCorte, great information videos on YouTube in setting the zero stop and correct scope mounting, and a value price point which puts the Tract Toric ahead of scopes well over twice the price. Sublime service. A phenomenal product which today instilled huge confidence and trust in my shooting, and just looking at it on the Sauer put a smile on my face.
We have been with TRACT since talking to Jon and Jon of TRACT. What really makes this company over the quality of the product is the integrity, quality and superior response of their people… Jon Allen and Jon LaCorte are top flight people. Strong Engineers at heart with a good sense of business and understanding of customers needs and desires.
TRACT Optics have proven to us the best of breed when compared to even top end Leupold, Zeiss, NF, and Vortex Razors. And this comes from a NF, and Schmidt-Bender person (me) that felt only NF and S-B was the very best in clarity and tracking… boy was I wrong!
Recently, we (Bayou Advanced Weapon Systems, LLC) purchased their top-end TRACT TORIC 4-20x50mm MRAD to mount and test upon our custom massive 338-340 for our brutality testing. The Optic performed flawlessly first time out on the range… After doing a 100-yard zero and setting Zero Stop for POI 2” high @ 100 Yards, I set turret to ZERO. The scope performed flawlessly and tracked as it should from 100, 225, 400, up to 800 meters.
Next was to hit steel targets ranging from 1200 Yards to 350 Yards and then back to 100-yards to paper. I shot 800 meter plate and worked back to 100 yards so after each solid hit on steel at distance, the scope again was brought to 500 then to 100 bench paper testing… tracking on this scope performed flawlessly and I had no problem reaching well out to the ranges up to 1,100-yards on internal elevation with no hold over for the remaining elevations needed due in part to the flat trajectory of what I was shooting.
TRACT Toric has a place on all our top-end Long Range weapons we build at Bayou Advanced Weapon Systems, LLC and I would highly recommend them over top-end NF, S-B or Steiner and even PH Swarvoski for the majority of my high-end, discriminating and demanding customers that put out good coin on SA Hunts and Trophy Hunts in NA. This is the optic if you are dead serious about extreme Long Range Bench Shooting with your weekend warrior hunting and long range rifle or that special build that you know has the ability but you need an optic to match… that would be a TRACT Optic.
You will NOT be disappointed in any TRACT Optic.

After looking at The Toric HD 30mm at the outdoor show this past winter and being impressed I decided to buy one for my PRS rifle. I wanted to run it in several matches before I posted a review and all I can say is wow! I can’t even begin to put into words how impressed I have been with the optic. The optical quality and the features of this scope are absolutely amazing. I have made a point to show my scope to as many people as possible and everyone seems to have the same reaction to it that I do and are amazed when I tell them the price. I don’t know what kind of magic the guys at Tract worked to make an optic of this quality so affordable but I’m glad they did. I liked the Toric HD so much that I sold another much more expensive optic I had on another rifle and purchased another Toric HD for it. I can’t wait to see what the folks at Tract release next but chances are I will probably own it shortly after the release.
Finally got a chance to test my new 30mm and it didn’t disappoint. I did a side by side with my NXS 3-15x50 and the glass was every bit as good color/clarity were as good as well with a better sight picture and no edge distortion. Tracking, fast focus and side focus are right on. I was looking for what was wrong instead of what is right and honestly found no faults.
Fantastic job to everyone at Tract I couldn’t be more pleased.
I have been amazed with the clarity of the scope. I have had it for a while and have tested it out to 600 yards and it is awesome! It took two shots to put in the bullseye at 100 yard by looking down bore and lining it up. I set zero stop at 200 and made a square it worked flawlessly. I could not be happier! This was on a Bartlein barrel rem. 700 7mm rem mag.
I’ve had this scope for a couple months now, I wanted to give it a little time before I gave it a review. The tracking test was spot on.! The glass is very nice, color pops and there isn’t any hazing at all, clear edge to edge. I’m in love with the locking turrets, that’s a great feature.! The turrets have a solid and audible click. The illuminated reticle with the different power settings comes in very handy when you have a dark
background. Now comes the price, I don’t think you’ll find a scope this nice anywhere else in this price range..! Overall opinion, this scope is well worth the money and I’m very very pleased with it.! Great job Tract.! You nailed this one.!
