Mounting System on Big Bore Builds
For maxium ring clamping strength Corey uses the NightForce 6 screw Heavy Duty Rings on all his Safari Builds with optics. What should be a testament to the LPVO by TRACT is that he tells his clients their PH is wrong, you do not need Iron Sights and a Quick Detach Optic. He assures his clients that the TORIC 1-8x24 will not fail. He also recommends that they buy a 2nd or another LPVO as a backup. However, in a real world hunting environment shooting Cape Buffalo, Lion or Rhino, there is ZERO time to QD detach a failed optic and use iron sights.
"The TRACT is the way to go for reliability and I have never had a client have a failed Optic even many that have dropped their firearm. In fact, 2 of the last 5 clients actually broke their stocks or even a bolt handle was broken off due to a very harsh fall on rocks. After repair the TORIC LPVO still maintained zero."
